To help diagnose any issues you have regarding your broadband speed, we will often as that you conduct both a wired and wireless speed test. This helps us identify where the problem may lie and helps us diagnose your issues quicker.
Conducting a speed test is quick, easy and gives the team a more accurate insight into your connection.
Why do we ask for Wired and Wireless Speed Tests?
When wiring a device directly into the connection, we can see the true speed being outputted by our equipment. From there we can identify where the issue lies, as it may be a problem with the cabling or router.
Conducting a wireless speed test may show slower speeds than what you are actually receiving due to interference, so having both results allows us to see whether it's an issue with the wireless signal in your home.
