1 USAGE POLICIES
Any terms in capitals not defined in these Usage Policies will have the same meaning as in your Agreement. These Usage Policies apply to you and anybody you allow to use Connexin Broadband. Any reference to “you” shall be interpreted to mean you and anybody you allow to use Connexin Broadband. You are responsible for the use of Connexin Broadband by any person you allow to use it, including anyone who accesses Connexin Broadband because you have removed the wireless encryption security on your wireless router.

2 ABBREVIATIONS/DEFINITIONS

3 CONNEXIN BROADBAND NETWORK MANAGEMENT POLICY
Connexin Broadband is subject to a Network Management (or Fair Usage) Policy to ensure fair and sustainable service quality. Available bandwidth is shared among all customers online simultaneously, which may result in slower speeds during peak times (e.g., 5 PM–midnight on weekdays, all weekend). This particularly affects high-bandwidth activities like HD film downloads or streaming (e.g., BBC iPlayer, Netflix).
4 ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
Our AUP applies to all users of Connexin Broadband. Queries can be directed via live chat at www.connexin.co.uk.
5 DO NOT USE CONNEXIN BROADBAND ILLEGALLY
Connexin Broadband may only be used lawfully. Prohibited activities include:

Violating UK laws or third-party rights (e.g., intellectual property).

Distributing defamatory, offensive, abusive, or harmful content.

Promoting illegal behavior or fraud.

Damaging Connexin’s reputation.

Accessing IWF-blocked child abuse content (additional filters recommended for "adult" material).
Network Security Violations:

Unauthorized access, monitoring, or interference with systems/networks.

Distributing viruses, spam tools, or insecure devices.

Reverse engineering Connexin Broadband.
6 PRIVACY
Personal data is handled per UK data protection laws and Connexin’s Privacy Policy.
7 MESSAGES

Do not send unsolicited messages (e.g., spam, mail-bombs) or impersonate others.

Connexin may scan emails for viruses/spam (messages flagged as spam are deleted after 30 days).
7.1 World Wide Web Use
Users are solely responsible for their internet activity and must not disrupt others’ experience.
8 COMPLAINTS
Report breaches or complaints via email: disputes@connexin.co.uk.
9 ACTIONS WE CAN TAKE
For policy breaches, Connexin may:

11 UNLIMITED DOWNLOAD ALLOWANCE ADD-ONS

Add-ons activate within 48 hours of sign-up and auto-renew annually/monthly.

Cancellation requires 48 hours’ notice before renewal; no refunds for unused allowances.

Changes to Add-ons will be notified via email/website (30 days’ notice for significant changes).

Existing unlimited broadband customers are ineligible.
