From Thursday, 18th December 2025, the app features known as PIQ (Advanced Network Security) and EIQ (Parental Controls) will no longer be included as complimentary inclusions (free extras) with our standard broadband tiers.
These features are being re-designated as premium add-ons, which means they’ll now be available to buy separately as Total Protect and Total Control.
Please note:
- No change to your broadband service: This does not affect your core broadband connectivity, speed, or line reliability. It applies only to the app-based Value Added Services.
- Contract status: Your broadband contract stays the same. These features are classed as non-core ancillary services (an extra app-based service separate from your broadband connection). These features are provided outside of your primary Service Agreement, so this update does not constitute a material modification to your contract. Standard terms regarding early termination charges remain in effect.
