Where existing street furniture is unavailable or unsuitable, Connexin infrastructure is initially planned on public land, such as adopted footpaths, verges, and other areas owned and maintained by the council.
To limit disruption and additional street furniture, we may highlight buildings within an area that could be used as an alternative to new poles, such as community centres, private businesses, and even residential properties. These will be offered as an alternative to new poles, and property owners would receive a bonus for hosting equipment.

We never build on private land without express permission and legal agreements. If you believe a pole has been installed on your land by mistake, please contact us at https://www.connexin.co.uk/build-enquiries with supporting details so we can investigate.
